Is there any health reason at all for an adult human to drink cows' milk?

NOTMILK.COM:
It's hard for me to come up with even one good reason other than simple preference. But if you try hard, in my opinion, these would be the best two: milk is a source of calcium and it's a source of amino acids (proteins).
Let's look at the calcium first. Why are we concerned at all about calcium? Obviously, we intend it to build strong bones and protect us against osteoporosis. And no doubt about it, milk is loaded with calcium. But is it a good calcium source for humans? I think not. Th... ? Continue reading ...

Remember when you were a kid and the adults all told you to "make sure you get plenty of good protein". Protein was the nutritional "good guys”" when I was young. And of course milk is fitted right in.
As regards protein, milk is indeed a rich source of protein-
-"liquid meat," remember? However that isn't necessarily what we need. In actual fact it is a source of difficulty. Nearly all Americans eat too much protein.

Great Information about the History of the Apple and its Health Benefits:
One of the most popular quotations of the 19th Century was "An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Before the 20th century there was no food pyramid or someone to announce the importance of five servings of fruits and vegetables every day. People simply recognized the healthy attributes of the apple. Some people were also well aware of the apple's relationship to the history of the world. Author-naturalist Henry David Tho... After researching on the web, Answers.com informed me:
Answer: From "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (1996): "An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Eating fruit regularly keeps one healthy. First found as a Welsh folk proverb (1866)" 'Eat an apple on going to bed,/ And you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread.' First attested in the United States in 1913..

Today I spent a wonderful Earth Day with my mom bicycling. We had a serene nature-filled day full of love and fun. We stopped for lunch at our favorite picnic table. We didn't see much wildlife today on the trail .. a baby turtle was about it compared to the usual armadillos and the occasional bobcat. 10 Best and Worst Foods for You

The truth is that before the advent of agriculture--about 5000 years ago, I believe--all adult humans, like the adults of other animal species, were lactose intolerant. This doesn't mean it is impossible to drink milk, it just tends to cause discomfort (for most individuals--some can have more dangerous /deadly reactions). But once we had agriculture, we began to raise animals for meat. Our ancestors, in times of hunger, also began drinking milk. It...

Runner's Knee
Runner's knee happens when the kneecap (patella) tracks incorrectly over a groove in the thighbone (femur) known as the femoral groove when you bend and straighten your knee. In healthy knees, the patella rests in the femoral groove and slides easily up and down when you use your knee. But when the patella is out of place, it can irritate the femoral groove and wear away the cartilage beneath the patella, leading to knee pain. http://kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/sports/runners_knee.html#ca...
